SPECTACULAR!!!
What an INCREDIBLE stay we had at the Soroi Luxury Migration Camp. When I first began researching where to stay, I was quickly overwhelmed. Even though there are hundreds of safari companies to choose from in Kenya, Mercy, at Soroi very obviously gave me THE BEST first impression. She answered ALL of my questions (and more!) in her very first response to me and was detailed, patient, professional, and upfront with all the costs. She saved me from weeks of back-and-forth email exchanges which I could not have appreciated more! Soroi was also very welcoming of children and offered loads of special interest activities to keep them entertained in the quiet of nature. The managers (Joel and Peter) and their staff could not have spoiled us more. Their huge smiles, can-do attitudes, and red-carpet treatment made it that much harder to leave! Steve, our guide, was also truly exceptional. He made it his personal mission to find us all the animals the Mara had to offer. An unbelievable and unforgettable stay
An unbelievable stay that made our first visit to the Masai Mara unforgettable. The staff are exceptional - Peter, Joram (Dr.Dawa!), John, Emmanuel, Chef Boniface, Joel, Lina and Safari—all were incredible and made us feel so welcome. They had thought of everything, so we could completely relax, and were so accommodating with every request. Our camp guide Daniel was exceptional, his local knowledge and tracking skills got us the first viewings! Every game drive was exciting and we also had a great time learning about the Maasai culture and animal behaviour from him! It was the thoughtful touches and genuine care that made our stay feel so special. The setting right on the river is beautiful, with hippos, giraffes, elephants, buffalo and monkeys visible from the lodge, as well as wonderful birdwatching. The room was perfect, very well appointed, clean and comfortable. We also had a very good massage—the perfect way to unwind between game drives. It’s a fantastic eco lodge, without ever feeling that you’re compromising on comfort or the experience. Thank you to the whole team for making our first Mara safari so amazing. We had an incredible time at this camp as part of the Dave and Tracey Mani group. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The tents are amazing with everything you need and are always kept clean. The chefs were amazing as I am gluten intolerant they adapted the meals for me and I even had lovely bread and cakes and they all tasted great. A Truly Magical and Unforgettable Stay at Soroi Luxury Migration Camp Our stay at Soroi Luxury Migration Camp was one of those rare experiences that stays with you long after you leave. From the breathtaking setting to the warmth of the people, every moment felt incredibly special, beautifully considered and effortlessly luxurious. The camp has a wonderful sense of place intimate, peaceful and surrounded by the beauty of the African wilderness. The rooms are beautifully positioned along the riverside, allowing you to feel completely connected to nature while still enjoying every comfort. They are elegant and authentic, with thoughtful Kenyan touches that give them a wonderful sense of character, while still feeling refined and luxurious. With 42 members of staff, there are far too many wonderful people for us to name individually, but every single person deserves to be recognised. We may not have learned all of their names, but their kindness, dedication, professionalism and warmth were felt in every part of our stay. Each member of the team contributed in their own way, and every effort was noticed, valued and deeply appreciated. Joel, the manager, and Peter, the assistant manager, led the team with such grace and attention to detail. Nothing ever felt difficult or rushed; everything simply happened seamlessly, allowing us to relax completely and enjoy the experience. Boniface is an exceptional chef, and the food was a highlight in itself. Every meal was beautifully prepared and presented, with a level of care that made dining at the camp feel truly special. Safari, our waiting staff, looked after us so thoughtfully made sure our meals selection were chosen as well catered for , and Titus created the most wonderful drinks perfect for enjoying evenings around the fire pit. The sundowner setup was pure magic. Watching the African sky change colour with a beautifully prepared drinks in hand was an unforgettable moment. The bush breakfast was equally special, wonderfully organised and set in such a beautiful location near the Mara river that it felt almost surreal. Even the smallest details were memorable. From finding hot water bottles tucked into our cosy beds at turndown, to waking in the morning to the sounds of the wilderness and having freshly brewed coffee and homemade cookies delivered to the comfort of our tent, every touch felt thoughtful and quietly luxurious. It was the perfect beginning to another extraordinary day on safari. And just when we thought the attention to detail could not get any better, we would climb into our safari jeep for an early morning game drive to find warm hot water bottles placed on each seat such a wonderfully thoughtful gesture that made those mornings feel all the more special. What makes Soroi Luxury Migration Camp so special is not only its remarkable location or its beautiful surroundings, but the feeling it creates. There is warmth, generosity and heart in everything they do. You arrive as a guest, but there was nothing short of being at home . This was more than a luxury safari stay it was a truly magical experience filled with unforgettable moments, exceptional hospitality and memories we will treasure for many years to come. We left with full hearts, immense gratitude and a deep appreciation for every single member of the Soroi team. Unforgettable experience with 5 star service.

An Exceptional Maasai Mara Experience – Outstanding Hospitality, Food and Service!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay in the Maasai Mara with friends and family. The tents were beautifully decorated, spacious and thoughtfully designed, with lovely little touches throughout. Very Clean. The dining and lounge areas were equally inviting, warm and comfortable. The food was phenomenal, with every meal beautifully curated and a standout experience in its own right. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the service. Every single member of staff, from the room attendants, guards and naturalists to the waiters, bar staff, chef, manager and assistant manager, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. Exceptional Hospitality and an Amazing Team at Soroi Luxury Migration Camp
We had a wonderful stay at Soroi Luxury Migration Camp! Joel, the Camp Manager, was outstanding, and Peter, the Assistant Manager, was equally great. Jonathan from Security, Faith and Solomon at the Restaurant, Joram at the Bar, and Elizabeth from Housekeeping all did an amazing job. The entire team deserves appreciation for their warm hospitality and excellent service. Superb!
If you look at my previous reviews you will see, I hope, that I give fair reviews with, invariably, a bit of (constructive) criticism. In this instance, I cannot find ONE thing to criticise about our stay at Soroi Luxury Migration Camp! The centre of the camp is beautiful and kept immaculate, the layout of the tents ensures privacy and the tents themselves are better than some London hotel rooms we have stayed in! The food is astonishingly good, again better than a lot of meals we have had in restaurants we eat in where we live near London. From the moment we arrived to the time we left we felt royally looked after by every member of staff we came across. We had been told we had been upgraded by our Travel Agent on the same terms as the other Soroi camp we had previously booked but on arrival I was informed that the drinks package was not included which didn’t impress me one bit. Jesse, Camp Manager, assured me he would deal with it and not to worry and within hours it was sorted out. He was always on hand to make sure we were looked after and enjoying ourselves Joram, the Barman, was always on-hand to ensure our drinks were topped-up, even before we asked for one. Our waiter Titus was superb, making sure everything was perfect for us and accommodated any changes or emissions without question. Fred, the Sous Chef, checked on us after every meal to make sure we had enjoyed it and welcomed any suggestions to make things even better. John, our Tent Steward, was there at the crack of dawn for our wakeup call and a tray of coffee and biscuits always with a smile which made getting up so early a little easier! And when we came back from dinner each night he had turned our bed down with hot water bottle in place and blinds all closed. Akimba, our driver throughout, tried his very best to make sure we saw the wildlife we wanted to see and took care of us at all times with a highlight for us of a Bush Breakfast on our last drive near the Tanzania border, which was wonderful. And finally Mapi, our Masai guard, who escorted us back to our tent each night. One evening as we were walking along the track he made us move back, not seeing anything untoward we were a bit confused. Mapi then picked up some stones, threw them into the bush and out ran a very large Buffalo which disappeared away from us! How he spotted it was beyond me! This review is not about the company Soroi, it's about the people in-camp. Jesse, and every team member I have mention, you made my Wife’s birthday trip one which she will not forget for a very long time. Highly recommend! Unbelievable experience
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Soroi LMC! Manager Jessie and staff created so many magical memories for us. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by a Maasai welcoming party, we were treated like royalty. It seemed Jessie always had incredible surprises for us, like a dinner in a clearing in the woods and a sundowner in the bush. All staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive; special shout outs to Safari our waiter and Joran our mixologist. The food was absolutely delicious. We certainly didn’t expect 5star meals on safari but that’s exactly what we got. Our amazing safari guide Akiba and trainee Shedroc have a special intuition to find the elusive animals. We had so much fun and experienced game drives beyond our imagination. We spent 3 nights here and I was truly sad to leave. During our trip we stayed at 3 other camps but Soroi was , without question, my favorite! I highly highly recommend!!
