A must place to visit in Kenia. This was our 3rd visit to the Private Wing. Excellent location with a most relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. The tented rooms are beautifully done with all necessary amenities. Always clean with assistance always on hand when needed. The food was excellent, healthy and tasty. Everything we hoped for on Safari Beautiful and luxurious accommodations, staffed by people who are kind, gentle, and at all times professional. We always felt safe under the guard of the Masai men who watched over us and served us at the camp. Posse, Profesa, and especially our guide, Kuriata, were all great individuals whose intelligence, humor, and respect for the land and the wildlife were inspiring. The service and the food were fantastic, always tailored to individual tastes. Soroi Private Wing I cannot say enough amazing things about Soroi Private Bush camp. My wife and I chose Soroi for our honeymoon, and we are so pleased with our experience. The entire booking process was smooth and easy, with the staff prompt in answering any questions we had. On arrival, everything was perfect. The accommodation was super clean, the staff were so friendly, and the food was amazing. The chef was so accommodating, and even customized my wife’s meals. The camp manager, Harrison, always checked in with us regularly to make sure we had everything we would need. Most importantly, the staff ensured we both felt so safe during our stay here, which was important as my wife had apprehensions about the safari. The team went above and beyond in making our honeymoon feel special. We were especially thrilled with our game driver, Rashid. We were blown away by his knowledge and passion for the wildlife, and could not have asked for a better guide for our honeymoon. He ensured we had the best wildlife viewings, and often we found we were the first vehicles to witness incredible animals- all thanks to Rashid. The whole team felt like a family to us. Great Masai experience Gloria and Harrison went above and beyond to take care of me when I got sick. Corietta was a great guide as well. They really care about the services they provide. Unique Experience We were upgraded to the Soroi Private Wing which is conveniently located only 10 minutes from the airstrip. Large and beautifully appointed tents in a woodland setting overlook a river of playful hippos. Be aware that they will make noise communicating all night long and that, on occasion, their “aroma” will waft over you. We learned more from our guide, Matthew, and his apprentice, Tipape, than from all our other guides combined. Their passion and respect for the animals and birds, as well as their ability to clearly communicate, was truly impressive. High quality binoculars were provided for our game drives. Thanks to Washington, our room steward. Laundry, which was included, was washed, sun-dried, folded, and returned the same day. Our room was spotless and he even supplied an extra hot water bottle and blanket when I casually mentioned how chilly it got at night. General manager, Harrison, was always present to inquire about our satisfaction. The chef provided a special cake for our 40th anniversary. We told her about the wonderful salted caramel ice cream we enjoyed at Soroi Amboseli, and she surprised us by making it for us on our last day.
