 Verified A wonderful Safari in Samburu! A Lovely Stay at Suroi Larsen We had a really lovely experience at Suroi Larsen. The tents were comfortable and welcoming, and we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the camp. The food was definitely one of the highlights of our stay — everything we had was delicious, and the chef did a great job. The food and drinks were really enjoyable. A special mention to Mary and Leidas, our waiters, who took very good care of us throughout our stay. They were friendly, attentive, and always made sure we had everything we needed. We would also like to thank Morris, the manager, for arranging a beautiful pool dinner and a lovely sundowner for us. It was a thoughtful experience that we really appreciated. Another special part of our stay was seeing the Samburu Special Five during our safari. Seeing these unique animals in their natural surroundings was a wonderful experience and made the safari feel complete. We also enjoyed seeing the friendly impalas and elephants walking around the camp. Having wildlife so close while enjoying our food and drinks was such a lovely experience. Our tour guide Joshua was polite and friendly. He took us on a beautiful safari around Samburu and made sure we had a great experience. Overall, we had a very enjoyable and memorable stay at Suroi Larsen.  Verified Samburu and Siri Larsens is spectacular Amazing experience. Everything was incredible - the food, the service, the accommodation and the game guiding particularly. Morris was an excellent host and his staff were always willing to assist, kind and generous with their time and knowledge of the area and keen to ensure we enjoyed our stay as much as possible. They couldn’t do enough for us. Joshua our game guide, a kind and humble man, was so knowledgeable, knew all the places where the animals were likely to be and seemed to be highly respected by all of the other guides. Within the first 3 game drives we saw all of the Samburu 5 together with lions, a leopard prowling and a cheetah kill. Fantastic place and highly recommend it. A hidden gem!

We were fortunate to encounter leopards and lions on our game drives, and we were blown away by the magnificent, light‑pollution‑free night sky. The on‑site photo hides are ideal for wildlife photography. We are extremely grateful to the whole hotel team for arranging our special honeymoon trip, and for the generous complimentary upgrade to the stunning star‑view room. This thoughtful gesture made our stay even more memorable. The manager and our dedicated butler provided warm, attentive and impeccable service throughout our visit. Every detail was well‑taken care of. We absolutely loved our time at the lodge. It exceeded all our expectations.
