Diving & Snorkelling

Kenya’s south coast reef is one of the
most varied in East Africa — warm,
clear, and alive year-round. The
fringing reef stretches the full length of
Diani Beach, making snorkelling
directly off the sand a remarkable
experience even for first-timers.

Lobster & Champagne Beach Dinner

Kaya Kinondo Sacred Forest

Built by the Portuguese in 1593 at the edge of Mombasa’s Old Town, Fort Jesus is one of the most significant monuments on the East African coast. The Old Town surrounding it is a living network of carved Swahili doorways, spice traders, and layered history best explored on foot with a local guide.

Loved that it’s located in the park, with a great view of river Ewaso Nyiro and beautiful mountains. The air was so fresh and we could spot animals from time to time. Loved the view from our room and it was always clean and tidy! Definitely worth every penny. The ambience was good, loved hearing the birds chirping and also the sounds from the monkeys and elephants. I enjoyed the food so much, every bite was so good. Service was 1000/10! George Washington was taking care of us for the 3days and we loved every bit of it! He is so kind, time keeping and professional. He definitely made our stay more enjoyable! The swimming pool had a great view for birdwatching and Peter at the pool was good too. Lastly , Wiclyffe, the manager was also ensuring we had a good time.

 Verified Personal welcome and service. You are immediately greeted warmly to the tunes and dance of the Samburu tribe. Very friendly staff. We are thinking of Petro, Lino, and the service in the restaurant. Thanks to the entire staff! The cuisine is of extremely high quality with an eye for the presentation of the dishes. The chef is, of course, very good! It is a pleasant place to stay with a view of the river. The rooms are very beautifully decorated with stunning photos. Clean bathrooms, spacious room, terrace with a view of the river. Wi-Fi in the room. We stayed in room 17, in the "Zebra" block.

Soroi Samburu Lodge gave me hands-down among the best vacations I’ve ever had! The property itself is absolutely stunning, but what truly elevates the experience is the immaculate, heartfelt service from the entire team. From the moment I arrived, Rainah at reception made me feel instantly welcome, constantly checking in to ensure every detail of my stay was perfect. My safari driver/guide, Francis Maina, made the game drives unforgettable with his incredible expertise, sharp eyes, and passion for the wildlife. The dining experience was exceptional every single day. Special thanks to George Washington, who oversaw all my meals with top-tier attentiveness, along with Chantal and Helen, who provided wonderfully warm and seamless service. A fun highlight was meeting Joel, a talented line cook and server who turned out to be my birthday twin! Coming back to my room was always a joy thanks to Lino and Fridah, who kept everything spotlessly clean and went above and beyond by creating a gorgeous birthday surprise in my room. To the security team who escorted me at night thank you. Also grateful for the managers who consistently checked in to ensure everything was running smoothly. Our experience at Soroi Samburu Lodge was nothing short of FANTASTIC! From the moment we arrived until the day of our departure, we were treated to an extraordinary level of warmth, care and genuine Kenyan hospitality. The entire team, from the gentleman at the entrance gate to the management, made us feel not merely like guests, but like part of the Soroi family. The accommodation was exceptionally clean, beautifully maintained and thoughtfully organised. Every detail reflected the care and dedication of the housekeeping team. Although Samburu can be quite hot and the rooms do not have air conditioning, the lodge thoughtfully provided an additional fan to make us more comfortable — a gesture we truly appreciated. And the FOOD!!! Oh my goodness!!! Being Jain vegetarians, we have very specific dietary requirements. Not only did the kitchen accommodate every single request, they went above and beyond, often anticipating our needs without even being asked! A very special appreciation goes to Head Chef Nicodemus and his entire culinary team, particularly Monica, who took meticulous care to understand every detail of our dietary requirements. Their creativity, attention to detail and willingness to make our dining experience exceptional were simply remarkable. And their homemade ice cream was absolutely out of this world! My wife, who absolutely loves ice cream, was in heaven! We would also like to recognise some truly wonderful individuals who made our stay so memorable: Wycliff, the Manager: Thank you for leading such an exceptional team and creating an atmosphere where genuine hospitality is clearly part of the lodge's culture. This is a magical place in a beautiful location. Loved staying here. Bernard is a great manager. At the restaurant Rosa is phenomenal. Ruth was also brilliant. Everything I needed was taken care of. We were at Soroi Samburu for 5 nights on our Giving Safari - where we provide dental to the community partnering up with Community, Wildlife Conservation.  Verified A beautiful lodge in the Samburu Reserve
I had been to Samburu National Reserve 4 years ago and was excited to come back. This lodge made our visit very special. There were 10 of us on a safari and we stayed here for 3 nights. We were greeted with beautiful singing and staff in traditional costumes including the amazing beadwork that is characteristic of the Samburu people. Our rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The public areas of the lodge were gorgeous! And the food! Everyone here was so friendly and it was a great place to come back to after our game drives. What I particularly appreciated was the opportunity to get to know a little bit about Samburu culture. There was a beading class in which 2 incredibly talented people, taught us how to bead, but more importantly, what the color of the beads meant. We visited several places in Kenya, but Samburu remains my favorite, and this lodge helped to make it so!

 Verified A really lovely place for a relaxing and comfortable safari experience
We enjoyed the beautiful architecture of the whole Lodge surrounded by nature, lovely rooms with extremely comfortable king-size beds enveloped by mosquito nets that also encompass the bedside tables and charging points. The morning 2.5-4 hour and evening 2.5hr game drives provided plenty of game viewing. We were lucky enough to see lions and cheetas alongside plenty of elephants, many different antelope species, birds, giraffe etc. We were very happy to have booked the open 4x4 vehicle with Alvin as our guide and also had a wonderful early morning walk with Adamson. The spa has truly stunning views and the massage quality was excellent — so good that I booked a second one. I have a lot of massages and am very picky, so this is high praise! The therapist also made gorgeous body scrubs. The food buffet was very good and offered a lot of choice and all the staff, from the welcome team to waiters to security, were friendly and welcoming. The only negative was that we felt the drinking water in the restaurant was a little expensive. A great experience for those looking for more comfort, amenities and a good night's sleep coupled with easy game viewing.
