Part of the lodge’s profits are directed towards the Conservancy, supporting anti-poaching patrols, habitat restoration efforts, and local community benefits.

At the heart of LUMO Conservancy’s success is the unique bond it shares with the local community. The Conservancy was conceived from a fusion of three different ranches – Lualenyi, Mramba, and Oza – owned by the local Taita community.  Verified Stunning views at a magical lodge Absolutely stunning location and property. The attention to detail is felt throughout the entire lodge. From the moment you arrive until the time you sadly depart you will be so well taken care of. The food, the rooms, the pool, and the spectacular view of the valley below is hard if not impossible to beat. But the real charm is the staff. You will absolutely fall in love with everyone. And if you have ever wanted to experience a photographer hide to take photos only a few feet away from the animals at the watering hole, then this is definitely for you. We watched (photographed and videoed) over 400 zebras drinking water (rather aggressively 😁) for an hour! What a memorable experience only experienced by guests staying at Lion’s Bluff.  Verified An incredible weekend at Lion’s Bluff An incredible weekend at Lion’s Bluff… where do I even begin? 🦁 We took the SGR to Voi, where we were picked up for a smooth and scenic drive to camp. On arrival, we were welcomed with the most refreshing baobab drink — the perfect start to our getaway. We checked into the most amazing room, overlooking the vastness of the conservancy, and then began what can only be described as a food journey! 🍽️✨ Lunch was incredible — our palates were extremely happy! I also have to give a special mention to how exceptionally well they catered to my gluten-free and dairy-free dietary needs. Every meal was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The chefs are truly exceptional — I honestly wanted to take them home with me! 👩‍🍳❤️ After some much-needed afternoon rest, dinner followed, and once again, I honestly cannot begin to explain how delicious everything was, from start to finish. Over the next few days, the weather gave us a little bit of Africa meets Europe 🌦️😂, but we certainly weren’t complaining. The comfort of the lodge, the incredible food, and the peaceful surroundings were everything we needed for a much-needed R&R weekend. And the wildlife? Simply magical. 🐘 We saw elephants and other wildlife from the comfort of our room, enjoyed an abundance of birdlife, and were entertained daily by the white-bellied go-away birds and crested francolins. And, of course, we cannot forget the adorable bush baby! We did not go on any Game drives by choice but instead relaxed at the camp. The staff were absolutely incredible — everyone was so helpful, warm, attentive, and welcoming. Their hospitality truly made the experience even more special. All in all, 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.  Verified Amazing time at Lions Bluff We had quite an amazing spectacular experience at Lions Bluff .. first of all the setting is probably the most all inspiring and best scenery that we have ever seen…. We had a straight shot view of the watering hole and a lion showed up. The pool was amazing with its 360 views and the service was as impeccable as it gets. The nighttime safari was a huge hit and a particular highlight of this trip .. the entire Team, Phyllis, Douglas and the Chef Basheer made our stay absolutely world class!!! our servers cosmas and Daudi were brilliant.. Augustine room butler was exceptional every night making sure we had a warm hot water bottle in our beds.  Verified A beautiful camp for a relaxed family safari We stayed at this camp as a family of four with our two adult children and had a wonderful time. We immediately felt safe, comfortable, and very well looked after. The staff were extremely friendly, flexible, and attentive, creating a warm and personal atmosphere. The lodges are stylish, comfortable, and beautifully located. We loved relaxing on the balcony, enjoying the vast landscape and watching animals in the distance. Water to drink was always available, which was a thoughtful touch. The game drives with the knowledgeable drivers were enjoyable and interesting, and the night drives added a different perspective to the safari experience. Breakfast during the safari was a lovely and memorable experience. Between the drives, we relaxed by the pleasantly heated pool and enjoyed the beautiful views from the terrace. The food was very good and varied, and the mocktails were delicious. The entire camp is tastefully designed and is a wonderful place to slow down and enjoy nature together as a family.  Verified Out of the world experience We had a great time at Lions Bluff. The game drives were amazing. We saw 3 of the big 5 plus lots of other wildlife. The facility is absolutely gorgeous. The staff had an excellent attention to detail and our room was amazing. Special thanks to the kitchen staff who accommodated us outside the available menu.  Verified Incredible unique experience. Incredible unique experience in this gem hotel, nestled in the mountains overlooking a conserved wilderness area. Panoramic views from everywhere even you glass shower! Staff were so welcoming and helpful to our group of 11 travelers.  Verified A 5 Star Safari Experience The Lodge is exceptionally situated high up on a bluff where you can see all around for some 70 kilometres. The property can only be described as 5 star. The staff are friendly and attentive, the service is impeccable, and the food is delicious and beautifully presented. Each chalet has a balcony, and floor to ceiling glass so you can enjoy the view when you’re inside. Our guide, Brian, was very knowledgeable and I learned a great deal from him about the wildlife.  Verified Perfect experience at Lions Bluff Lodge We had an amazing time at the Lions Bluff Lodge. It was our favourite lodge during our travels through Kenya. Everyone is super friendly, the food was absolutely amazing. They even surprised us with sundowner drinks on their helipad. The room was an absolute dream with unbelievable views.
