Upon reaching Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, our representative will be there to greet you. You will then be transferred to your hotel.

Day 2
Nairobi - Soroi Lions Bluff Lodge
Transfer to SGR Syokimau Train Station for a train journey to Voi. The train is scheduled to depart from Nairobi terminus at approximately 08:00 hours, reaching Voi terminus around 12:02 hours. Upon arrival, your driver guide will be waiting to transfer you to Soroi Lions Bluff Lodge.
The journey from the train station to Lumo Wildlife Conservancy is approximately 60 minutes. Check-in and lunch are followed by an afternoon game drive.

Day 3
Visit of Community Wildlife and Conservation Project
After breakfast at the lodge/camp, we will have a brief visit of CWC projects. Mlugi School’s ICT lab, a newly built facility benefiting 10 schools in the vicinity and Latika Primary School where guests can spend some time with the children and witness the transformation as we constructed a kitchen, installed a water tank, repainted the school, and continue to support the community by purchasing food and covering teachers’ salaries. Day 4
Cultural Visit to Taita Village
After breakfast you will depart on a “Day with the Taita Experience”, to the enchanting Bura village, where you’ll immerse yourself in the daily life of the villagers.
The experience begins with an authentic vegetable harvest from the village garden, learn how to cook their traditional meal, the medicinal uses of the local plants and trees and transform the sisal leaves into durable ropes.
Guided by skilled villagers, you will gain firsthand experience in the age-old craft of rope-making, a practice woven into the fabric of Bura’s cultural heritage.

Day 5
Lumo Wildlife Sanctuary - Nairobi
After breakfast, transfer with packed lunch to Voi Train station for Train to Nairobi.
Train departs Voi terminus approx. 0955hours to arrive at Nairobi terminus approx. 1410hours.
On arrival, you will be met by our driver guide and transferred to your hotel.
Overnight at Emara Ole Sereni Hotel. Dinner on own arrangement.

Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve
Pick up from your hotel latest 0700 Hours and depart for Samburu. You will drive northwards past Thika Town famous for its pineapple plantations and the Del Monte factory.
Lunch is at Trout Tree Restaurant followed by an afternoon game drive into Samburu Game Reserve

Day 7
The Game Drive Experience
Enjoy an early morning game drive in the reserve and breakfast at the camp. Thereafter you’ll visit the young students we support from the local Tourism College/Plastic for books project.
Lunch is camp followed by tree planting session using indigenous tree seedlings. You’ll also have an optional beading session with Joanna at the camp.

Day Excursion to Reteti Elephant Sanctuary
Today you will get to visit Reteti Elephant Sanctuary. This is a Samburu community-owned and run wildlife sanctuary in Northern Kenya.
Reteti rescues orphaned and abandoned elephant calves to release them back into the wild

Samburu Game Reserve – Nairobi
Morning game drive and breakfast at the camp
Drive back to Nairobi. En-Route you have the option of visiting Umoja Village which is a safe haven for Umoja Women. The members of Umoja Uaso Women Group decided to found a women-only village and reside together
